Hi, I'm Mikaela!

I'm a Western New York-based photographer with a strong foundation in sports photography and visual storytelling. I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in the spring of 2026 with a degree in Photography and Marketing. Specializing in sports and studio photography, I combine technical precision with an athlete’s perspective to create dynamic imagery that captures the energy and emotion of competition.

I currently serve as the Lead Photographer for Syracuse University's Athletics Department full-time. Before Syracuse, I was the Photography Intern with the Premier Lacrosse League during the 2026 season, photographing professional men’s and women’s lacrosse. I also spent three seasons with RIT Athletics, serving as the Supervisor of Photography from 2023-2026 and leading a team responsible for visual content across 24 NCAA teams.

My experience working in fast-paced environments strengthened my ability to balance leadership, creativity, and real-time storytelling while building connections with athletes and fans alike.

My work has been published for the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Premier Lacrosse League, NCAA, Getty, EverythingCollegeHockey, Atlantic Hockey America, and more!
