Hi, I'm Mikaela!

I'm a Western New York-based photographer with a strong foundation in sports photography and visual storytelling. I recently graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in the spring of 2026 with a degree in Photography and Marketing. Specializing in sports and studio photography, I combine technical precision with an athlete’s perspective to create dynamic imagery that captures the energy and emotion of competition.

I currently serve as the Photography Intern for the Premier Lacrosse League, contributing visual coverage of professional men's and women's lacrosse. Previously, I worked with RIT Athletics from 2023 to 2026, where I served as the Supervisor of Photography and led a team in producing visual content for 24 NCAA teams and their social media and digital coverage. My experience working in fast-paced environments strengthened my ability to balance leadership, creativity, and real-time storytelling while building connections with athletes and fans alike.
